Peter Kember has a wide range of technical expertise to call upon, allied to his first class project management and global contacts, Peter Kember brings an unrivalled depth to process implementation and technology transfer projects and I am honoured to have had the privilege to know him both as a colleague and a friend.
I have had the pleasure of working with Peter over a range of technology spaces including automated optical inspection, thin film deposition for printed electronics and OLED architecture and have sought his advice and project management expertise to provide process integration solutions; and he has always

OLEDs (organic light emitting diodes) are the latest thing in lighting. Made as individual lights or as “walls” of light they are low cost, low energy and very efficient lighting sources.
We are working on a project to install a production line for OLEDs in Asia but based on a good deal of equipment from specialist suppliers in the USA. Such a line will not be the first in the world but there are not lots of these, especially as our line will involve roll to roll manufacturing which enables OLEDs to be deposited on plastic substrates for maximum flexibility
The line will produce lighting panels which give an all over, even white light which will be used for general lighting application suitable for the home and the office as well as the increasingly varied use in cars.
